This patient had high esthetic expectations and wanted to change their shy, child-like smile consisting of small, yellow teeth. With a goal to preserve natural tooth structure and aesthetics, we decided on no-prep porcelain veneers. The patient not only loved the outcome but also reported smiling more frequently and confidently.
Smile Makeover
After years of mismatched dental work, progressive staining, and the loss of a front tooth, this patient was thrilled to get a smile makeover. It was truly a joy to help this wonderful person embrace a beautiful new smile. This transformation involved teeth whitening, a dental implant, and a combination of crowns and veneers.
Replacement of Missing Teeth
This patient lost their two lower front teeth due to internal resorption. In cases where the bone isn't ideal for implants, or the patient prefers simpler treatment, a resin-bonded fixed partial denture (Maryland Bridge) is a great alternative. Here, two porcelain Maryland Bridges were bonded to adjacent teeth to restore the missing teeth in just two visits.
Severe Stain / Veneers
The use of tetracycline during childhood caused severe brown staining on these teeth. The stain didn't respond well to whitening, and the size of the upper teeth plus their relationship to the lower teeth wasn't ideal. We designed porcelain veneers to cover the dark stain and improve the proportions and function.
Replacement Veneers/Natural Asthetics
Dentistry has become a sophisticated blend of art and science. This case showcases replacing old veneers with new ones that have the natural surface texture and characteristics of real teeth. A thorough smile evaluation and seamless execution of a detailed plan allowed us to deliver outstanding results.
Minimally Invasive Smile Makeover
Internal and external tooth resorption caused this patient to lose one of their front teeth. We used an implant, dental whitening, and a combination of minimally invasive cosmetic bonding and porcelain veneers to restore and enhance the natural beauty of their smile.
Smile Makeover
Childhood dental trauma resulted in fractured and discolored teeth for this patient. Multiple poor restorations were an ongoing reminder of that unpleasant childhood experience. Porcelain restorations provided increased this patient's confidence and self-esteem.
Veneers
Gum recession and tooth discoloration resulted in a smile that didn't reflect this patient's wonderful personal qualities. We used porcelain veneers to create a uniform appearance while also closing spaces between teeth where food debris accumulated.
Veneers
This patient's upper and lower teeth had an poor relationship, causing dental wear and disproportional tooth size. We used Invisalign to move the teeth into the correct position, then restored natural esthetics with porcelain veneers.
Crowns
Some teeth develop with altered enamel that's more prone to fractures, staining, and decay. And unfortunately, previous negative dental experiences can prevent patients from getting care. This case didn't happen overnight. We built a trusting relationship and created a plan to address the patient's concerns and dental needs. Porcelain crowns offered the protection these teeth needed, along with the desired appearance.
Veneers
For years, this patient felt discouraged by the appearance of their discolored teeth. They were also growing tired of old composite fillings chipping and wearing away. Porcelain veneers provided the esthetics and durability to smile confidently, while also boosting motivation for oral care.
Composite Bonding
Peg laterals, or small lateral incisors, are fairly common. Though healthy, these teeth create unsightly spaces that trap food. This patient had orthodontics to distribute space for ideal tooth proportions, followed by composite bonding. No anesthetic was needed, and we restored proper form and function while preserving 100% of the natural tooth structure.
